Gun Owners of America Endorses Scott Tipton for Congress

Dear Friend of the Second Amendment,

Gun Owners of America Political Victory Fund is proud to stand with Scott Tipton for Congress in Colorado’s Third District.

In addition to a perfect pro-gun voting record, Rep. Tipton is pushing legislation to roll back unconstitutional restrictions on lawful gun owners.  The Firearms Interstate Commerce Reform Act would remove several regulations imposed by gun control advocates years ago that make it more difficult for citizens to purchase firearms.

Rep. Tipton, seeing the existing law as both an affront to the Second Amendment and to free enterprise, is working on legislation to repeal part of the 1968 Gun Control Act, such as the prohibition on the interstate sale of handguns.

While proudly serving his Congressional District, Rep. Tipton is not without serious challenge in this election. 

Nancy Pelosi is looking to Colorado as a state where she can pick up several votes in her quest to regain the Speakership.  A defeat of Tipton puts Pelosi one step closer to assuming the Speaker’s Chair in the House, which would enable her to push her radical gun control platform.

Gun Owners of America Political Victory Fund is proud to endorse Scott Tipton, and you can be sure that he will continue to fight for his constituents and the Second Amendment rights of all Americans.
