Gun Owners of America Supports Ron DeSantis for Congress

Dear Friend of the Second Amendment,

Few people come to Congress with the depth of constitutional knowledge as Ron DeSantis, candidate in Florida’s Sixth District. A native Floridian and decorated serviceman, Ron worked as a JAG officer in the United States Navy and as a military and civilian prosecutor.  He continues to serve as an officer in the reserve component of the Navy.

Ron is also a Patriot who stands 100% in support of your right to keep and bear arms.  As your Congressman, Mr. DeSantis will respect your Constitutional liberties and fight to protect them in Washington.

After Barack Obama was elected in 2008, DeSantis watched with many other concerned Americans as the new president set about to “fundamentally transform” the United States.  

Ron’s concern and outrage over what was happening in Washington led him to write “Dreams From Our Founding Fathers: First Principles in the Age of Obama (2011),” a book that explores how “Obama has chartered a course that is alien to the Republic’s philosophical foundations.”

With gun control advocates continually pushing for greater restrictions on your rights, it is vital that we elect Representatives who understand that the Constitution and the Bill of Rights place limits on the government – not on “We the People.”

For this reason, GOA-PVF is proud to support Ron DeSantis, and we encourage all Second Amendment supporters in the district to vote for Ron on November 6.
