Gun Owners of America Endorses Richard Hudson for Congress

Dear Friend of the Second Amendment,

Gun Owners of America Political Victory Fund is pleased to endorse Richard Hudson for Congress in North Carolina’s Eighth District.

Mr. Hudson earned an “A” rating from GOA based on his unwavering support of the right to keep and bear arms and for answering the GOA candidate survey 100% in favor of your gun rights.

Richard Hudson

Richard's opponent, incumbent Larry Kissell, claims to support your gun rights but has a mixed voting record on the issue.

In 2009, Kissell voted three times against protecting gun rights in national parks.

He also voted for the so-called DISCLOSE Act, which seeks to prevent groups like GOA from criticizing an incumbent’s voting record in the months leading up to an election.  DISCLOSE, a blatant violation of the First Amendment, should more accurately be called the “Incumbent Protection Act.”

Kissell even voted against repealing the anti-gun Obamacare, despite concerns of gun owners that a national medical records database could be used by federal bureaucrats to disarm law-abiding Americans.

Thankfully, Richard Hudson gives gun owners in North Carolina’s Eighth a clear choice on Election Day.  In his own words, “The Second Amendment is America’s First Freedom.”

On behalf of Gun Owners of America Political Victory Fund, I urge you to support Richard Hudson for Congress.  Unlike his opponent, Hudson will always stand up for the Constitution and the right to keep and bear arms.

If you can volunteer your time in these crucial weeks before the election, or if you can make a generous financial contribution, please visit Richard online at www.richardhudsonforcongress.com.  Even if you live outside of the district, your support in this race will make a huge difference.

Of course, if you live in North Carolina’s Eighth District, please remember to vote for Richard Hudson.

Sincerely,

Tim Macy
