Gun Owners of America Supports Deb Fischer for Senate

Dear Friend of the Second Amendment,

Deb Fischer has spent her time in the Nebraska State Legislature fighting for the Second Amendment rights of her constituents.  Her biggest contribution to gun rights as a state legislator was leading the fight to pass the Conceal Handgun Permit Act.

Deb Fischer

Given Fischer’s track record, there is no doubt that she will continue to be a steadfast supporter of the right to keep and bear arms when she gets elected as the next U.S. Senator from the Cornhusker State.

There couldn’t be more of a stark contrast in this election. Fischer’s opponent, former Senator Bob Kerrey, has frequently supported anti-gun bills making it more difficult for law-abiding citizens to purchase and keep firearms.

Furthermore, with Kerrey in the Senate, Harry Reid will have one more vote to keep him and his gun control agenda in power as Senate Majority Leader. If President Obama were to win re-election, Bob Kerrey will also be another rubber stamp for the President’s liberal activist nominees such as Supreme Court Justices Elena Kagan and Sonia Sotomayor.

Deb Fischer will not support any judicial nominee who refuses to support the liberties and freedoms that the U.S. Constitution enumerates. That’s why it is crucial for the Senate to be populated by people who believe in the Second Amendment, as Deb Fischer does.

Gun Owners of America Political Victory Fund is proud to endorse Deb Fischer for the open Nebraska Senate Seat. You can be sure that she will continue to fight for her constituents and their Second Amendment Rights.

But this November election will not be easy.  Deb is running against a well-funded opponent who has major liberal backers who are trying to keep the seat in anti-gun hands.

So please go to the Fischer campaign site and contribute whatever you can to ensure that the other voters in Nebraska know that Deb will defend their rights in Washington.
