Gun Owners of America Political Victory Fund is proud to endorse Cory Gardner in his campaign to become the next U.S. Senator from Colorado.
As a Member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Cory has been a friend to gun owners across Colorado and the entire United States. His service has been crucial in the fight to protect our right to keep and bear arms.
In contrast to Cory, Sen. Mark Udall has been a thorn-in-the-side to all law-abiding gun owners in Colorado.
Mark Udall has supported and voted for gun control laws which would criminalize honest Coloradoans and harm the Second Amendment rights of all Americans. He has truly earned his “F” rating with GOA.
His record of voting for gun control is extensive and completely unconstitutional.
He has voted for:
* A bill containing both a veteran’s gun ban and a universal gun registry
* The Toomey-Machin universal background checks and registration amendment
* The confirmation of anti-gun ATF Director B. Todd Jones.
Those are just some of the horrible pieces of legislation he has supported, along with voting against good pro-gun bills such as Sen. Rand Paul’s amendment to protect gun owners privacy from blanket government demands under the PATRIOT ACT to know who has purchased firearms.
It is clear that Sen. Mark Udall does not believe in the Second Amendment and the original intent of our Bill of Rights.
But Cory Gardner has an “A” rating with GOA. That means he opposes the so called “assault weapons” ban and universal background checks; and has stated that he will “oppose any efforts by the federal government to create a federal database of gun owners.”
This is the kind of Senator that gun owners in Colorado deserve, and Cory is ready and equipped to take on the gun control agenda in the Senate.
It is clear who the best candidate is in the race to become the next U.S. Senator for Colorado. This is why it is so important to support Cory Gardner and his campaign.
